PERSONAL CFO SERVICES with NO Conflicts of Interests. the way planning should be donE
As Joseph Campbell states, Heroes don't begin as heroes, they are normally ordinary people that are living ordinary lives in an ordinary world. But, like others, they eventually get that Call to Adventure and their journey begins...
My ask is that you take the concepts that you have learned and help others grow so they can go on their own journey and inspire others by Returning their Boon.
Did you read a book that really helped you understand the concepts of investing? Did you find a podcast you really enjoy? Did you find an advisor that is a fiduciary that has your best interests in mind? If yes to any of the above, share them with others! A hero is not always a knight in shining armor or someone who is world famous...you can be a hero to someone and it could literally change the direction of their financial life, both in the present and in the the future, for this generation and beyond.
Each Hero’s Journey, just like yours, starts with what Joseph calls, the “Call to Adventure”
Call to Adventure
For many, their call to adventure will start when they become more interested in their finances and start to establish both short and long term goals. This could be sparked by speaking to a friend, seeing something on social media or simply being frustrated in not knowing their financial situation intimately. Whatever is the cause for the call to adventure, the beauty is that your own hero's journey is now beginning.
Crossing the Threshold and the Road to Trials
The next step is taking action or crossing the threshold. Again, this can come in many ways…starting to read books on finances and investing, listening to podcasts, watching vides on social media. Part of this process is understanding and realizing that your financial situation is unique and not everything you learn applies to your situation but as you continue down your road of trials, many things do make sense and you start to see the benefits of your actions.
With that said, you also will make some mistakes and that is ok. Part of this portion of the journey is realizing how many people supposedly have the ‘perfect’ solution for you and how influenced this industry is by sales and companies and people wanting to make money off of you for things that may not actually help you.
Abyss
This usually comes in the form of people starting to regret and feel bad for not placing a focus on their finances sooner and educating themselves earlier in their lives. Simply put, you realize that what you have been doing may not have been the best for you and in addition, you may have been setting a bad example for others that look up to you. Common thoughts and questions pop into your head such as
But as heroes do, they keep fighting and continuing their journey in order to receive the Ultimate Boon.
The Ultimate Boon, Crossing Back into Ordinary Life and Returning the Boon
Some people will get here faster than others but the key is to follow your own path. If you keep up with it and work with the right people, you can indeed achieve the Ultimate Boon.
My ask is that you take the concepts that you have learned and help others grow so they can go on their own journey and inspire others by Returning the Boon.
That is why I created Truly Unbiased LLC…to be able to look back and see that I have been able to change the lives of others and truly make a difference.
